All purchases (excluding sale items, bike repair parts/components, special orders, and bicycles shipped via freight) are returnable within 14 days for an exchange or refund. Items need to be in new condition. Returns must include original packaging and receipt, unless defective. To recover the finance charges we incur, a fee of 3.5% may apply on all refunded credit card payments, whether for deposits or purchases. We may charge labor to remove any accessories or reverse modifications made to returned bikes.

Sale items purchased via velolifestyle.com are final. Sale items in store  are returnable for store credit or exchange only. Sales of special order items, and of all bicycles that we ship via freight are final, unless defective.

Free tune-ups for one year on new bikes

We will perform a free standard tune up on your bike around the 30 riding day point, and perform simple adjustments on your bike for the first year free. Give us a call to make an appointment, or stop in for quick adjustments.

Warranties

We honor manufacturer’s warranties. Warranty claims made within 6 months will not incur labor or shipping charges. Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, improper assembly, improper maintenance, damage due to accident and labor charges for part replacements.

Privacy

We don’t share your personal information with anybody. We do not send unsolicited bulk email or postal mail. We do maintain mailing lists whose members assent expressly, verifiably, and revocably to being on them.

Security

We may store your payment information in electronic encrypted format for up to two business days. In certain areas, such as the payment information entry page, we use industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions.

USA shipping

All Bicycle and cargo bike orders are final sale. The following rare situations will be dealt on a case by case basis: Damage due to shipping and/or defective part.

Your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. These charges are always the recipient's responsibility. We are unable to provide an estimate of these charges.
We cannot accept responsibility for missing or damaged parcels shipped by methods without tracking information available. All funds are taken in CND

Shipping & Delivery

APO, FPO, or DPO Addresses

We use carriers that provide the most efficient service at a resonable cost to ship your order. When selecting a shipping method, please be aware that your shipment may ship via an alternate carrier, as long as the delivery time frame is maintained. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. Orders received by noon usually ship the same business day. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will ship the next business day. If you have a specific date that your order must arrive by, please contact us before placing your order.

We will contact you before shipping your order if we are aware of any issues.

Bicycle shipments

We ship most bicycle orders 80-95% assembled in a box. You will be responsible for unpacking and disposing of the packing material. In order to provide a shipping quote, we will need your full street address and postal code/zipcode. If you have access to a commercial address that has a loading dock and normal receiving hours, the costs are less expensive. In the rare case of a damaged bike due to shipping, please do not assemble or use the bike. Take photos of the box and its contents. Provide a descriptive list of what is damaged. Most companies will ask you to make the damage claim yourself, but we will assist you with this on your behalf AS LONG AS WE ARE NOTIFIED WITHIN 48HRS OF RECEIPT. You must bring your bike to your local bike shop for a damage assessment. We will do our best to send you replacement parts if necessary. We are not responsible for the labour charges of your local bike shop, as they varie from store to store and city to city.

In store sale items are returnable for store credit or exchange only. Online sales, sales of special order items, and of all bicycles that we ship via freight are final, unless defective.

Bicycles and Cargo bikes shipped to the USA are final.
