Black Iron Horse - Danish made Cargo Bikes

This past September, we visited @blackironhorse workshop in the nice neighborhood of Vesterbro in Copenhagen.

We introduced this Cargo bike brand to Canada last year, and has sparked a lot of interest among families country wide.

They are a team with over 25 years of experience, focused quality craftsmanship, safety and sustainability. They use 100% recycled plastics for their cargo box. Everything is built in house.

Their iconic 180degree rear steering system is based of the original "Sorte Jernhest Cargo bike " made by blacksmith Lars Leikier (seen in photos). The company has modernized the original design to make more fun and easy to drive.
